Welcome to Children's Ministry
At Aldersgate Church, we welcome children and families of all shapes and sizes. We strive to provide a safe place where your child can learn about God, ask questions and experience His love and build a lasting relationship with Jesus!
As our children journey with Christ, Aldersgate strives to offer them support, encouragement and nurturing opportunities to become ever closer to Him and others through His love.
Our vision is to provide a safe and exciting environment where children can learn about and experience the love of God.
The safety of your child is a priority. Aldersgate has a Safe Sanctuaries policy ensuring that all volunteers have completed background checks and annual training.
Our Children’s Ministry provides childcare for all ages. Our nursery always enlists at least two volunteers to care for all children 0-3 years of age. You can drop your child off at the nursery 15 minutes before the start of the 9 AM and the 10:30 AM services.
Hoppy Worship Time
At the conclusion of the praise songs during the 9 AM Contemporary Service, children are invited to follow our Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Lisa Murr, down to the Jungle room to experience a worship service designed just for them. This opportunity is offered to children ages 3 through 3rd grade. We have lots of fun with games, activities, and crafts as we focus on the theme and Bible verse of the month, provided by the Orange Curriculum. Our lessons are also provided online each week and you can follow along at home by following “Aldersgate Hoppy” on Facebook.
Amazing Adventures Sunday School
Our Amazing Adventures hour is Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:15am. This is a time where we dive deeper into our lesson of the week. We begin our time in a large group setting where the Bible story of the week is introduced. After the large group lesson, we break out into smaller groups (preschool through 1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade) and discuss the lesson in an age-appropriate way through games, activities, and crafts.
